Sesame Ginger Dressing

Posted by on August 30, 2012

Sesame Ginger Dressing

2/3 cup toasted sesame oil (must be toasted, the non-toasted is clearer and nutty rather than the strong bold sesame flavor)
1/3 cup rice vinegar
2 tsp mirin (rice wine vinegar) or agave
Sesame seeds
Tsp fresh ginger
Tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
Tsp dried chili flakes

You can toss just the first 4 ingredients together and have a fabulous simple dressing. Add some or all of the next three ingredients to give it more of a punch.

Great on mixed greens
Sliced cucumbers (Check out this cucumber recipe)
Shredded cabbage
Rice noodles and vegetables
Sea Weed (arame and wakame work great)
